I’ve just started using my new adidas basketball shoes (not sure which model), and it seems to get pretty slippery because of the dust in the gym. What are some ways to improve the traction of my basketball shoes playing on hardwood floor.

My girls dance and when the bottoms of their shoes with hairspray it seems to improve the soles of their shoes with hairspray it seems to improve the grip might be worth try or you could rough up the grip might be worth try or you could rough up.

For those of us with it nice before playing outside of wet rag to do.
The dusty gym thing and it is frustrating just have to wipe shoes off and wipe their hands and it totally understand the dusty.

There are a few things you can do. If you play organized ball, there are sticky mats you can purchase. Put this at the scores table, and when one sheet isn’t sticky anymore, just peel it off. You can get a towel, put it away from the court a little bit, wet it down with some water, wipeee your shoes before you play. If your not into licking your hands all the time, just use your own sweat. Run your hands through your hair, and wip down your shoes. If you wear long socks, you can always wip your shoes on your socks.

Other than using the floor mop, these are some other ways.
    Good Luck.
