My sister and I were having a little argument over if my soccer shorts were basketball shorts. Now, I want to know the difference. HELP, so I can prove he wrong.

   Bball shorts - a lil more loose.

   basketball shorts tend to be longer about a little above your knees and below the knees for guys.also basketball shorts are made of thicker material and sometimes mesh.

   soccer shorts are shorter.they should definitely be above the knee and are made of thinner more loose material.also soccer shorts are ment to let more air in so there for they are flimsier and soccer shorts also are made to wick away moisture.
